Light-

Indirect Bright Light- Low light tolerant - North facing /East/West facing window.

The ever giving Anthurium. Long lasting blooms that remind you the gift that keeps on giving.

  • WIth indirect bright light your Anthurium will sustain flowers longer with vibrant color.

  • If you notice your Anthurium slowing in growth and not flowering/losing color, move into a brighter location with at least 6 hours of bright indirect light.

  • Lower light settings will trigger different growth characteristics and can be desirable if you are looking for a foliage plant in low light, but will sacrifice flowers and growth habit.

Temperature & Humidity -

Anthuriums prefer warm temperatures of 70-90 degrees fahrenheit, but are very adaptable with traditional house temperatures. Anthuriums mostly thrive with humidity so using a pebble tray will help with providing humidity in the immediate area.

Water -

Check between 5-7 days - Indirect Bright Light

Check Between 10-14 days - Low Light

Key thing to having a happy plant is going to be good drainage and great watering techniques. Watering well and ensuring all the water has drained from the container. In lower light anthuriums take longer to dry down so take that into consideration. In brighter light you will notice the soil dry down quicker. Goal is for the top 2 to 3 inches of soil should be dry before watering.
